Inserts are used as the absorbent layers in Pocket Diapers. Average wetting babies will generally use one insert per Pocket Diaper. Heavy wetters will often use 2 inserts, one microfiber and one hemp. For naps or overnight consider using 2 inserts or 1insert and a Diaper Doubler.
