Here is the standard infant prefold with a snappi fastener.   Also, note the socks...they are the only ones I have found that consistently stay on my newborns feet.

Chinese Prefold Diaper in Premium Infant Size: Diaper is just a bit bulkier than the Standard Infant Size. Used of course with a Snappi Diaper Fastener.

Swaddlebees Organic Velour Fitted Diaper: beautiful fit and luxurious softeness. As a fitted diaper it needs a cover but who really wants to cover it up?

Heiny Hugger Fitted Diaper by Happy Heiny's: Diaper fits fine for a newborn and has a belly button dip in the front.

Kissaluvs 0's fitted diaper. One of my favorite diapers. We have used under a variety of covers with good success. I liked these at the hospital because we could tell easily if baby had wet the diaper or not. Some of the stay-dry diapers were more challenging to tell if they were wet or not.

Bummis Super Brite cover in newborn: This is one of the smallest covers in the shop. The belly button dip in front makes it fit well for a newborn. At 8lbs this cover will only fit Jeremy for probably another week.

Bummis Super Brite Size Small: we showed the newborn size in an early photo. Here the size small is a little bunchy but still fits around legs and waist well.

Imse Vimse Organic Cotton Cover in Preemie size: these covers really do run big and if you are having a smaller baby this is the best size for the newborn stage. This cover is fitting Jeremy beautifully and he is right at the 8 lb mark.

Thirsties Diaper Cover in XS. This cover fits around waist and legs and function is wonderful. It doesn't have the sleek look of a cover that fits perfectly. I was surprised by its excess of fabric.

Thirsties Duo Snap Wrap over a Kissaluvs 0: Great combination for an infant. Fit was great. These two products work great together.

WeeHuggers cover in Size 1: This cover is snapped down to its smallest setting and it fits beautifully.

.

Happy Heiny Mini: Fits well, I am not a huge fan of velcro-like closures. Again it is on the smallest setting which is rated for 5 lbs and Jeremy is 8 lbs here. My babies are just short from waist to crotch.

Blueberry MiniDeluxe: This is a great diaper. Easy to use and fits great. Jeremy is a heavy wetter and we have used this diaper with a wool cover over it with good success.

Swaddlebees MiniNappi and same fit as the Blueberry Mini Deluxe: We have more of the Deluxe. The MiniNappi is a sure to be pooped in diaper though because it is so soft on the inside.

Thirsties Duo Diaper Size 1 in my favorite print of all time Blackbird: This diaper fits a bit bigger than I would have anticipated. It still fits below the cord but barely. Legs are great. My children are long torso with and short from waist to crotch so that could be the issue here. Jeremy is a also a heavy wetter and one night did pee out of this diaper in 5 hours but the diaper was super-heavy. We are already using a wool cover during the night to protect the bed. Still a first pick for overnight use.

Rumparooz One-Size Pocket Diaper in the Ladder Print: Can't believe how well this fits. This is his older brother's diaper who is 2 and potty training. I am not fond of One-size diapers on an infant, however this one doesn't look too bad at all.

BumGenius Deluxe AIO Diaper: this diaper fits great around but is too long in rise for my little guy. They are rated for 8-16lbs but fit obviously matters. You can see the leg gap in the accompanying photo.

BumGenius Deluxe AIO Diaper: This diaper is too long in the rise and thus gaps below the leg. Realize that this is what will happen to any diaper that is too long in the rise regardless of how snug you make the waist. Many people let out the rise of their one-size diapers too soon and create this type of gap and by default leaks.

Lil' Joeys in the Ladder Print: This diaper is so easy to put on. It curls up in the wash because it is so tiny so it takes two cycles to dry.

Tot Bots Tini Fit by Bummis: fit under the cord but was a longer fitting diaper in the rise than many others. Very easy to use.

Flip One-Size Cover: this cover is rated for 8 lbs but maybe not for an 8lb baby with chicken legs. The cover looks nice just a bit bunchy but check other photo we tried our best not to get the legs to gap but Justin's legs are just so skinny.

Flip One-Size Cover: Notice that we are not getting a good fit around the legs. Baby's legs are just to skinny.

Flip One-Size Cover: Here is a trick that can be done with many diapers. I have heard it referred to as making bunny ears. It looks crazy but basically you are pulling the inside wings of the diaper up above the waist to make the leg holes smaller.

Kissaluvs Marvels One-Size Cover: This cover fits and functions. It is a lot of fabric but isn't truly bulky since it is just a cover and will fit under clothes just fine. The leg gussets make this cover snug around the little chicken legs.

GroVia One-Size Diaper Shell Set in Seaside Stripe: This diaper is a suprising fit for a newborn. I had seen it on infants before my own and it is still amazing. It is rated for fitting at 10 lbs and yet is fitting my little guy when other OS diapers do not. The fit actually looks good too. Snug around legs and waist without a lot of bunchy.

Knicker Nappies One-Size Pocket Diaper: This diaper was wide but amazingly we got a snug fit around the waist and legs. I didn't expect such a good fit on a diaper that fits to 40 lbs.

Tiny Tush Elite One-Size Pocket Diaper: This diaper looks pretty standard for a One-Size diaper. Fit is a bit loose still around legs and waist is ok. Diaper looks fairly bulky.

Tiny Tush Elite One-Size Pocket Diaper: Legs were a bit gappy on this diaper. The bunny ears trick shown in other photos would probably help this diaper get through until it fit the legs better. Realize my baby has some really skinny chicken legs.

New BumGenius 4.0 snap version. Wasn't too impressed with fit. Function was fine.

BumGenius Elemental Diaper (BumGenius One-Size Organic AIO Diaper) This diaper looks great but the legs just are not snug enough. Reference other photo.

BumGenius Elemental Diaper (BumGenius One-Size Organic AIO Diaper) This diaper just doesn't fit snug enough around the legs for good containment. My babies do have chicken legs but anytime you see these shawdows or gaps around the legs the diaper will tend to leak.

Kissaluvs Marvels AIO Diaper. This diaper looks pretty good for a One-Size on such a little guy. The legs are just a tad too loose but then again my baby has some pretty skinny chicken legs. I would say the legs will fill out and he could be wearing this diaper regularly within the next two weeks.

This is baby's Ooga Booga Set. T-Shirt and Fitted Diaper were made by me for baby. The cover came from Cloth Dreams http://hyenacart.com/clothdreams/ and I sent it off to ConvertMyDiapers.com to have Ooga Booga Snaps put on it. Cover fits baby well. The gussets at the legs make a big difference. I love my little Ooga Booga.
